In December 2022 I completed the 12-week Bioscience reskilling course at Holland College including a four-week on-the-job training module at Pegasus Biotech, Charlottetown. I hold a recent WHMIS certificate too as part of the course requirement. During the program I have followed and executed SOPs including hazardous material handling and disposal instructions, prepared solutions, standards and media and actively participated in experiments involving recombinant DNA technique and animal vaccine preparation. I completed a Food Engineer Master’s Degree (MSc) in Budapest, Hungary. During my career, I have more than 10 years of strong experience in a fast-paced food retail and wholesale merchandising environment for major Grocery retail companies in Europe and Canada. My experience includes private label product development via supplier tenders and negotiations and successful new product launches on retail/wholesale markets which depended on my ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and reliable partnerships with external stakeholders. I used data analysis to assess product and promotion performances to reach maximum profits and sales/budget targets. Writing Department Manager Action Plans, Store News and executing SOPs was part of my day-to-day job. For 2 years I managed John Vince Food inventory (over 150 SKUs) in Walmart Supercenter, Charlottetown and Summerside as a merchandiser and ensured constant product availability to achieve customer satisfaction. My passion is science and marketing and I would like to use all of my knowledge to help my next employer to succeed in the future.
